The Tri-Tronics Classic® 70 G2 is rugged, reliable, and simple to use.  A single red button on the transmitter controls the stimulation, and a convenient thumbwheel allows you to select from 6 correction levels or tone only on the fly. The Tri-Tronics Classic® 70 G2 EXP leads the industry in multi-dog products, expandable for up to 6 dogs. It includes 1 EXP Receiver, and can control up to 6 receivers at a time.

A unique feature of TriTronics brand trainers is the ability to replace the NiMH battery pack on the receiver and transmitter. This allows the hunter or trainer to keep spare batteries on hand in the event the battery drains down in the middle of a hunt or training session. It also allows you to simply replace the battery instead of the entire unit after the battery wears out (battery life is estimated for 3 to 5 years). The kit includes a quick charge charging cradle and transmitter that will completely recharge a dead battery in 2 hours. This also means that the G2 Receivers do not have a charging plug to lose or a charging port that can become packed with dirt and grime.

Another handy Tri-Tronics feature is the intuitive 'battery status light' on the receiver collar. A 'Green' flashing light means the collar is fully charged. 'Yellow' indicates that there is about a half-charge remaining, while 'Red' signals a need to recharge the unit in the near future.
